The contest and exhibition will contain visually stunning images of manta rays to entertain, educate and inspire an appreciation for these magnificent creatures from competing professional and amateur underwater photographers and videographers from around the world. More than a fundraising event, the photo and video competition will assemble a collection of images to aid our scientific understanding of Manta birostris and related Mobula rays. It will also publicize the need for action to protect and conserve an important species.
The entry process involves four steps:

SUBMIT ENTRY FORM An entry form must be downloaded and printed. The form allows you to describe the number and categories of entires. The form is available from our forms download center. [Download Now] PREPARE MEDIA FOR SUBMISSION Please label all entries carefully! Each submission must be labeled with the title, date, photographer and copyright. Video submissions need to include one digital image used for presentation purposes.

COMPLETE SIGHTING REPORTS To qualify, each image or video entry MUST be accompanied by a SEPARATE manta sightings form (see attached or complete on-line forms). A copy of this form is included in the entry form which is available from our Document Download Center.
